Past Honorees
United States Army Reserves
Major Michael Anthony
Major Michael Anthony began his military career in 2009 and has been stationed all over the world including serving in Afghanistan. During his time as an active duty officer, he flew the UH-60 MEDEVAC helicopter.
The picture above was taken in 2013 over the Gulf of Mexico where he performed training with an Apache battalion before deploying to Kuwait.

In 2017, he transferred to the Army Reserves and now coordinates theater level patient evacuation with his current unit. Michael also works in the pharmaceutical industry taking up roots in the DFW area with his beautiful wife.
I met Michael through his relationship with Defender Outdoors sporting facility and offered to make and gift him something special. Turns out, a challenge coin display was top of his mind! Michael is the reason I started down the Challenge Coin Display journey and am finishing a large Army Challenge Coin Display for him. Pictures will follow soon.
Texas Army National Guard
Rebecca Salazar, TMD, J1, SGM
Texas Army National Guard (TXARNG), Sergeant Major Rebecca D. Salazar's career began in December 2000. She has been stationed in different assignments around the great State of Texas and has been deployed to Iraq.
During her time as an TXARNG, Active Guard Reserve Human Resources Senior non-commissioned officer she assisted subordinate Soldiers and peers alike administratively. It’s all about taking care of Soldiers.
This is a large 54 count challenge coin display showcasing the Texas flag with a custom cherry floating frame. It's personally made by me using advanced finishing techniques to deliver an incredible luster.
