Our Gift to Honor

Major Michael Anthony - US Army

2013 Gulf of Mexico

- training with Apache battalion prior to Kuwait deployment -

Major Michael Anthony began his military career in 2009 and has been stationed all over the world including serving in Afghanistan. During his time as an active duty officer, he flew the UH-60 MEDEVAC helicopter.

In 2017, he transferred to the Army Reserves and now coordinates theater level patient evacuation with his current unit. Michael also works in the pharmaceutical industry taking up roots in the DFW area with his beautiful wife.

I met Michael through his relationship with Defender Outdoors sporting facility and offered to make and gift him something special. Turns out, a challenge coin display was top of his mind! Michael is the reason I started down the Challenge Coin Display journey and finished this large Army Challenge Coin Display for him.

Because of meeting Michael and hearing his story, I decided to continue the efforts of making a large Challenge Coin Display for someone special four times a year. It's my way of honoring those who show dedication and honor to our great country. It's all on me from design, creation, packaging and shipping.
