The Modern Humidor

With so many first responders and military men enjoying cigars, this was a natural evolution of my builds.  So out of respect, I started my designs with my Father In-Law who retired from the United States Air Force and I thought what better way to honor his service by designing a humidor showcasing some of his medals.

Here are the medals I chose.  I used one for each of the sides of the inside cigar trays.

One of my most popular humidors is the Black Walnut humidor!  With the popularity and richness of this wood, it's no surprise.  Here is an example of a buyer who was looking for exactly that but with figured english sycamore trays for her husbands birthday.

Jim is a retired police officer from California and wanted to celebrate his move to Texas in a bold and unique way.  After kicking back and forth many ideas, we settled on the famous Davy Crockett quote.

Davy wasn't exactly leaving California; in fact, he was leaving Tennessee after loosing a Senate race in 1835 by saying "Y'all can go to hell, and I will go to Texas".  But it fit Jim's sentiment exactly.
