The finishing process is under way.

The inlays and artistry component is complete and I now enter the spray finishing phase.

There is still a lot of work left. Now I am in the back and forth component of spay, sand, spray and sand more.

Here is the other side.

If I had to put a number to it, I would say I have four weeks; and within that period, I will spend approximately 11 more hours of spraying, sanding and polishing before it's complete. The four week period is the required "gassing off" time that's required to stabilize the finish before buffing can begin.

If anyone ever wonders why delivering an extreme polish is more expensive than matte finish, this picture tells the story. What you are seeing is "orange peel". This is what your automobile finish looks like. But to deliver an Extreme Polished look, the surface must be perfectly flat like a mirror. That perfect flatness along with hours on a buffing wheel and rotary machine is what delivers a product that truly shines like jewelry.
