We are at the half way mark!

Here is a close up of the design.

It's inspired by Austintown's Police Vehicle

The substrate is complete and I am now working on the marquetry. The dark stripe is actually dark blue. The camera is not picking it up though.

I finished the cigar trays. If you look closely, you will see that I selected Ancient Kauri veneer that has been carbon dated to 30,000 years. This wood was discovered in New Zealand in a swamp which preserved the wood.

It's beautiful wood and it turned out amazing.
